What to look for
Gas engineers carry out boiler installation, servicing, and repair, gas-cooker installation, gas-pipe work, gas-safety certificates for landlords, and warm-air system work. Every gas engineer working on natural gas or LPG installations in the UK must be registered with Gas Safe Register; the licence card carries a unique ID and expiry date.
